In January 2003, JJ Engineering (Birmingham) Ltd are celebrating their 30th year of trading.The company, which provides metal formed components, assemblies, welded assemblies and powder coating services was formed in 1973 and employs a team of over 80 people in their factory and tooling units in Garretts Green.
Over the last 30 years, JJ Engineering has seen many changes to the manufacturing industry in and around Birmingham. “JJ Engineering has been predominately supplying services and products to the automotive industry since 1973. Whilst this is still the cornerstone of our business we have also expanded into other markets such as construction, which has enabled us to capitalise on major building projects. The attainment of Quality standards has helped to maintain this high Level of service leading to a strong balance sheet with a profitable return on capital employed”.
The team at JJ Engineering have also spent a great deal of time focussing on producing quality products and service to their customers, which is all backed up by the industry quality standards such as QS 9000 and ISO 14001. “The result of this hard work is now paying off and we have a profitable future in the manufacturing industry of the West Midlands.
