JJ Engineering Birmingham Ltd will provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems for employees, sub-contractors and others who may be affected by its operations. The company will also take into account its environmental impact. It will provide information, instruction, training, supervision and consultation as appropriate.

J.J. Engineering (Birmingham) Limited will comply with legal, customer and other requirements that the company subscribes to. It will continually improve its health & safety and environmental performance and endeavour to prevent ill health, accidents and pollution.

J.J. Engineering (Birmingham) Limited has defined its principal health hazards and environmental impacts as follows.
· Noise
· Use of chemicals and other resources
· Use of vehicles
· Manual handling
· Use of work equipment, including display screen equipment.
· Production of hazardous and other waste
· Potential for an accidental release, causing hazard/pollution.

Procedures are in place for all of the above to ensure safety and control.
This policy is enacted through a series of Health & Safety and Environmental objectives and targets within the management system, which are continually reviewed. This policy will be updated as the business changes in size and nature a will be reviewed annually.

J.J. Engineering (Birmingham) Limited will communicate this policy to employees, sub-contractors/visitors and it will be available to interested parties and the public via our web site.
